Ronald Dwight Hash, 66, of Red House Road, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his residence. He was the husband of Katherine "Kathy" Moore Hash.
Born in Concord, on March 29, 1948, he was a son of the late Carl and Opal Hastings Hash. Ronnie was a retired truck driver for Appomattox Oil and Tiger Fuel and served his country in Vietnam as a member of the U.S. Army. He had many friends and family who loved him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Gayle Hash of Appomattox; brother-in-law, Robert Moore and wife, Robin; sister-in-law, Debbie Moore; niece, Dana Wilson and husband, Christopher and their son, Christian and many other nieces and nephews; cousin, Avis McLemore and husband, Tom of Franklin, NC; and his beloved dog, Sheila.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Denton Hash.
A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Journey Ministries, Church St., Appomattox officiated by S.L. Ferguson. Rather than bring food to the home please bring food or other items to the church on Saturday for a meal and time of fellowship with the family following the service at the church.
