Roland Vance Hayden, 89, of Annandale, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Leewood Health Care Center.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Marie Daubner Hayden; a son, Grant David Hayden and wife, Jennifer Fabius of McLean, VA; grandson, Bryce Logan Hayden; and a step-grandson, Austin Logan Greene.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Vance Hayden.

Born in Flint, Michigan, on April 13, 1931, he was a son of the late Beatrice and Charles Hayden. He was a US Navy veteran serving in the Korean War and retired from the US Civil Service. Roland was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Appomattox, VA.

A private family burial of Christian Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church by Father Jim Gallagher.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and /or Mac's Kitchen, P. O. Box 668, Appomattox, VA 24522.
