Roger Lee Moore, 64, of James River Road, Gladstone, died Monday, November 22, 2021, at the residence of his son.

Born in Lynchburg, June 7, 1957, he was a son of the late Martha Jennings and Marvin Watts Moore, Jr. Roger was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a cemetery trustee for Rebecca Cemetery and worked as a groundskeeper at Falling River Country Club.

He is survived by his son, Brian S. Moore and wife, Rachel of Gladstone; two brothers, T. Randy Moore and wife, Dawn, and Tony L. Moore both of Gladstone; one sister, Ida M. Burks and husband, Sam of Amherst; four grandchildren, Daniel Moore, Austin Moore, Ethan Moore, and Kayleigh Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2021, at Rebecca Cemetery with Rev. John Flood officiating.
