Roger Lee Gibson, 70, of Pamplin Road, Pamplin, died Friday, January 26, 2018 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Barbara Price Gibson.

Born in Chatham, October 12, 1947 he was a son of Alease Atkins Gibson of Gretna and the late Moses Gibson. Roger enjoyed fishing, playing poker and taking care of his vegetable garden.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Moses Lee, Amy Sue and Angie; one brother, Darrell Gibson and wife, Velma of Chatham; two sisters, Stella Parker and husband, Ray and Christine Wallen both of Gretna; and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Dillard Gibson and one sister, Linda Peaks.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2018 at Robinson Funeral Home.
