Roger Lee DeMorier, Sr.
Roger Lee DeMorier, 67, of Tower Hill Rd., Appomattox, died Thursday, April 12, 2012, in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Marilyn Pearson DeMorier.

Born in Alabama, on February 16, 1945, he was a son of the late Larry and Ann Caukins DeMorier. Roger was a US Army Vietnam veteran and a member of Tree of Life East.

In addition to his wife he is survived by five sons, Roger DeMorier, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Newport News, Keith Conrade and wife Battina of Hinesville, GA, Chris DeMorier and friend Dee of New York, Kenny Conrade and wife Sarah of Maryville, TN, and Fred DeMorier and wife Kelly of Unadilla, NY; a brother, Everette DeMorier and wife Deb of Dover, Del.; a sister, Laura DeMorier of Ohio; seven grandchildren, Ciara DeMorier, Christopher and Dylan Conrade, Brook Arlene Conrade, Derrick and Samantha DeMorier, and Joshua Rifanburg; and his step-mother, Velma DeMorier of Walton, NY.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m., Monday, April 16, 2012, at Tree of Life East by Pastor Kenny Lawhorne. Burial will follow at 12 noon in Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home on Sunday, April 15, 2012, from 5-7:00 p.m.
