Rodger Carol "Hollywood" Edwards, 62, of Dillwyn, died Sunday, April 28, 2024.  He was the husband of the late Debra Marie Roland Edwards.

Born in Charlottesville, August 22, 1961, he was the son of the late Gladys Marie Davidson Edwards and Linwood Edwards.  He was a member of Bethel Bible Church, Appomattox, and a truck driver for Wayne Davis Logging. He served on the Toga Volunteer Fire Department as Captain until his health declined.

He is survived by two daughters, Crystal Edwards Mitchell and husband, Chrisitan and Samantha Kimbrough both of Dillwyn; five grandchildren, Hakim Edmonds, Keithen Edwards, Serenity Stokes, Candice Edmonds and Brianna Stokes.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the church.
