Obituary
Roberta Lee Gunter, 72, of Lynchburg, died Saturday, September 5, 2015. She was born in Appomattox County, Va., on December 25, 1942, a daughter of the late Cordelia Dunn and Charlie Lee Gunter.
She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and a retired Campbell County School teacher.
Roberta is survived by three sisters, Jean G. Totty and husband, David of Spout Spring, Helen G. Wilmer and Doris G. Humphries and husband, Michael all of Lynchburg; a brother, Charlie Gunter of Concord; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, David W. Gunter.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Guggenheimer Health and Rehab for their loving care of Roberta.
A funeral service will be held 10 am, Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jim Stevens. A private burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
