Robert (Bob) Pritchard, 95, of Richmond, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday night, June 23, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Richardson Pritchard, a son, Tony Wayne Pritchard and 7 brothers and sisters.

Robert was born in Carter Co., TN, on February 13, 1919 a son of the late James and Polly Jane Hughes Pritchard. He was the retired owner of Ideal Vending Company, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a 50 year Mason, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

He is survived by a son, Robert Allen Pritchard and wife, Norma; a daughter, Lana Ann Thomas all of Walkerton, VA; a step-daughter, Vickie Munford and husband, Al of Sedley, VA; a brother, J.P. Pritchard; a sister, Bonnie Patterson of Tennessee, seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and best friend, Pauline Campbell.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm., Friday, June 27, 2014 at Piney Ridge United Methodist Church, Pamplin, officiated by the Rev. Herndon Jeffreys. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites accorded by American Legion Post #104 and V.F.W. #9855 combined honor guard.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home from 6-7:30 p.m., on Thursday, June 26.
