Robert J. Lewis Sr., of Warminster, PA passed away quietly and peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Doylestown Hospital. He was 82 years old. Born in Willow Grove, PA, he was the son of the late Edward and Ella Buchman Lewis.
He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Barbara Anne Meadows Lewis of Warminster; loving father of Robert J. Jr. (Andrea) of Naples, Florida, William "Ben" (Christine) of Horsham, PA, Kim (John) Burke of Warminster, PA and James E. (Dottie) of Lansdale, PA; sister of Ellen Schwartz of Warminster, PA; and also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mr. Lewis was a proud Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was formerly employed for 40 years at the Reedman Corporation as a used car sales manager.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Piney Ridge United Methodist Church, Pamplin, VA. Interment will be in Piney Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends will be received after 9:00 AM until time of the service in the church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia., PA 19106 in Mr. Lewis's memory.
