Robert "Bobby" Ivan Markland III, 70, of Lynchburg, Va, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 12, 1955, he was the son of Alice Rebecca Morris Kugler and the late Robert Ivan Markland Jr, and stepfather, the late John P. Kugler.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three siblings, John Markland, Phyllis McNeil, David Markland and wife, Leilani; five step-siblings, Peggy Collins and husband, Bruce, Debbie Kugler, Kim Keenan, and husband, Brian, Ed Kugler, and Michele Kugler; and the special people in Bobby's life, Dolly Faye Bryant, Tammy Marie McFadden, Laura Faye Dixon and Jasmine Taylekia Dixon.

He was preceded in death by a step-brother, John A. Kugler.

An informal celebration of life will be held at 3pm, Monday, April 7, 2025, at Concord Cemetery, Concord, Va.
