Robert Henry Goin Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2025.

He was born December 31st, 1944, in Lynchburg, Va. Robert was the son of the late Ernest Goin and Edna Mayberry Goin.

He is survived by his sister, Betty Martin; his four children and a daughter in law, Roberta Lynn Goin, Ruby Diane Goin, Penny Rose Cofer, Robert Henry (Goin Jr ) Mayhew and his wife, Candice. He had six grandchildren: Earnest Reynolds III (Junior) and his wife Kristen, Horace Reynolds (Boo) and his wife Lora, Richard Reynolds (Ricky) and Lillian Goin, Jamie Goin, and Bailey Mayhew; and four great-grandchildren: Kori, Kaya, Zoey, and Reign.

Robert was preceded in death by his late wife, Nancy Goin, four brothers, Willis, Ernest, Otis, and Paul; and two sisters, Mamie Meadows and Annie Mae.

At Robert's request, he will be cremated and there will be no service.
