ROBERT CHARLES DAIL

Robert Charles Dail, 86, of Snapps Mill Rd., Spout Spring, died Sunday April 8, 2012 at his residence. He was husband of Virginia Powell Dail.

Robert was born Akron, Ohio a son of the late Vera Acecila Sawyer and John W. Dail. He was a member of the Assembly of God in Churchland, VA and retired minister of the Church of God Prophecy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Richard Lee Dail and his wife, Linda of Portsmouth, a daughter, Darlene Dail Elliott and her husband, Dewey; a brother Albert Dail, two sisters, Helen Honig and Alice Davenport all of Portsmouth; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-daughters, Phyllis Pickral and Dee Hickman both of Newport News, and Elizabeth "Libby" Pickral of Jacksonville, FL, two step-sons, Robert Pickral and Oscar Perry Pickral, Jr. both of Gloucester, VA and 4 step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Liberty Cemetery on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM officiated by Pastor Jerry Hooper.
