Obituary

Richard Hugh Paul Hauser, 62, of Appomattox died Monday, June 8, 2009 at his residence.
Born January 19, 1947 in New Jersey, he was the Beloved son of the late George Hauser and Agnes Walsh Hauser. Richard was a Vietnam Navy Veteran serving on the U.S.S. Hancock, a member of the Brookneal Moose Lodge # 1507, Brookneal, Va., and the Carpenters Resilient Flooring Union in N.J. Richard also served as a volunteer at the V.A. Center in Albany, N.Y.
He is survived by a son, Richard Michael Hauser and wife, Nicki of Point Pleasant N.J.; three daughters, Michele Valentine and husband, Edward of Manahawkin N.J., Rachael Perino and husband, Brian of Coxsachie N.Y., and Ericha Hauser of Coxsachie, N.Y.; one brother George Hauser and wife, Natasha of Red House, Va; four sisters, Margaret Connelly of Freehold, N.J., Kathleen Sakoutis and husband, John of Jackson, N.J., JoAnn VanDeMark of Allentown, N.J., Nancy Woodall and husband Gregory of Appomattox, VA; seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Kelsey and Morgan Valentine, Ryan and Lucy Hauser, Richard and Joseph Perino; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Father Jim Gallagher.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral home following the service until 9:00 p.m.
