Richard Allen "Ricky" Chandler, 57, of Pamplin, died December 10, 2020, at his residence. He was born in Lynchburg, Va., on June 4, 1963. Ricky was a kind person and a friend to many. He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Jane Chenault Chandler and Jim Eanes of Burkeville; three sisters, Karen Scruggs and husband, Doug of Hixburg, Rose Allen and husband, Ricky of Cullen, and Carolyn Chandler of Appomattox; a brother-in-law, Danny Jones of Pamplin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha "Mitzi" Chandler.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 5475 Hollywood Road, Appomattox, VA 24522.
