Rhonda Gayle Davidson Harris, 60, of Rustburg, VA, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at her home. She was the wife of Robert Harris for 32 years.

Born in Lynchburg, VA, on October 30, 1964, she was the daughter of Caroline Beatrice McIntosh Seamster and the late Braxton Eugene Davidson. She was a member of New Chapel Baptist Church. Rhonda was a woman of great faith in the Lord. She lived out this faith by serving others throughout her life. She had a spirit of hospitality, especially during the holidays, trying to ensure everyone had a place to be welcomed. Rhonda was a psychology professor at Liberty University for over 20 years. She loved to fish, spend time in the mountains, and cruising in her jeep. She enjoyed gardening and was artistic. Rhonda was "Mrs. Fix-it" and could fix anything.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one son, Jonathan W. Roberts and wife, Melanie, with children, Madison, Hannah, Nathaniel, and Khloe; three daughters, Amy Cox and husband, Zach, with children, Emma Kruzec, Elijah Cox, and Easton Cox; Amanda Roberts and John Dix, with Children, Camryn Griffin, Trevor Dix, Allison Griffin, Trevor Wood, Hunter Mays; and Amber Lee Harris; three siblings, Allen Emmett and wife, Debra, Sharon Jennings and husband, Randy, and Marge Craig and husband, Wayne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Davidson.

A funeral will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at New Chapel Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Tim Dooley. Burial will follow in New Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm, Monday, July 28, 2025, at New Chapel Baptist Church.
