Rhea Jo Parsons, 70, of Appomattox, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 23, 2022.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, on December 15, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Betty Davis and Richard Winters. Rhea was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Joseph B. Parsons and wife, Pam; grandsons, Josh Parsons and Joe Parsons, II; two granddaughters, Anna Parsons and Kenzie Stayments; her sister, Bonnie Schmitt; nieces and nephews, Richard Winters, III, Clifford Winters, Debby W. Pickering; Joseph Winters, and Jacob Winters; and many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Winters, II and Chris Thomas Winters.

A memorial service honoring Rhea Jo will be conducted by Pastor Jeff Worley at Victory Baptist Church, on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 1 p.m. A time of fellowship will follow in the church.  The service may be watched live on Facebook at Victory Baptist Church of Spout Spring, VA.
