Reva Smith Cruise, 87, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, formerly of Appomattox, died Sunday, June 11, 2023, in the University of Maryland, Baltimore-Washington Medical Center.

Born in Appomattox, August 16, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Sallie Mable Guill and John Andrew Smith, Sr.  Reva was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a seamstress with Amelia Dress Co.

She is survived by her son, Donald W. Moses of Washington D.C.; one brother, Moses "Dick" Smith of Spout Spring; a host of nieces and nephews; and her many loving friends from Maryland.

She was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2023, at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Rusty Small officiating.  Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her niece, Judy Johnson.
