Rayford William Clark, 78, of Charlotte County, VA, died Monday, December 12, 2022.  He was the loving husband, of Carolyn Jean Rutledge Clark.

Born in Charlotte County, August 25, 1944, he was a son of the late Odell Jackson Clark and Freddie William Clark.  He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.  Rayford enjoyed working on anything with an engine. He was truly gifted in fixing things.  Rayford was always willing to help his many friends get their equipment back running again.  He also enjoyed spending time with his special little dog, Coco while he was at home.  Coco was a great comfort to him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Jason Clark and wife, Dana of Phenix and Diane Clark Miller and husband, David of Chatham; he was Poppie to two grandchildren, Mikayla Clark and Zachary Clark

He was preceded in death by one brother, James "Pete" Clark; and one sister, Lois Clark Dalton.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2022, at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Chris Kesler officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home.
