Randy L. Randolph, 56, of Oak Ridge Road, Appomattox, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 24, 2015 at home. He was the loving husband of his high school sweetheart, Joyce Jones Randolph. They celebrated 38 years of marriage.
Born October 7, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio. He was a son of the late Donna Wolfe and George Randolph. Randy graduated from New Lexington High School, class of 1978. He also earned a welding certificate from Tri-County Vocational school where he went on to weld for the next 35 years.
In addition to his wife, Joyce Jones Randolph, he is survived by two daughters, Cathy Ann Hartman and her husband, Raymond of Spout Spring, Tammy L. Randolph and fiance, Roger of Appomattox; a son, Randy L. Randolph II and wife, Andrea of Fayetteville, NC; one brother, Michael Randolph of Lancaster,OH; two sisters, Georgene Randolph and Melody Baker both of New Lexington, OH; sister-in-law, Dianna Wright; nine grandchildren, Shania, Raymond II, Logan, Dylan, Randy III , Ambree, Dekarri, Desmond and Kendall; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law Charles and Helen Jones; two brothers-in-law, Pastor Jim Wright and Charles Jones Jr.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Red Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Barker officiating.
The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Red Oak Baptist Church, Oakville Road, Appomattox.
