Ralph Hamilton Inge, 81, of Swan Road, Pamplin, died Thursday, April 8, 2021, at his residence. He was the loving husband of Ruby Hines Inge for 59 ½ years.

Born in Lynchburg, Va., on January 30, 1940, he was the son of the late Lonelle Hamilton and James Taylor Inge. He retired from Babcock and Wilcox and was a member of Elon Baptist Church, Pamplin Fire Department, and a former member of the Pamplin Ruritan Club. Ralph enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he was the loving father and grandfather to three children, Jennifer Inge Gustafson and husband, Ron of Berryville, Sally Creasy and husband, John of Wilmington, N.C., and James Thomas Inge and wife, Patches of Troutville; and three grandchildren, Reagan Creasy, Rider Creasy, and Jamison Inge. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sally Woosley, Ernest Hines, Marvin Hines, Ellie Crews, Alma Hamlett, Kate Gilliam, and David Hines; and two special friends, Richard Robinson and Gene Baldwin.

He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Mary Hines Parker and a brother-in-law, Thomas Lee Hines.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, April 12, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery officiated by Pastor David Sexton.
