Ralph Henry Hanson, 92, of Morehead City, N.C. and formerly of Pulaski, VA, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in Cherry Point Bay Nursing. He was the husband of Ethel Eloise Trent Hanson.

Born in Green Briar County, West VA, on May 16, 1927, he was a son of the late Leslie Watson Hanson and Margaret Katherine Matheson Hanson. He retired from Burlington Industries. Ralph was a WWII Veteran having served in the Navy. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Pulaski for 60 years where he served as a Deacon.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth R. and Debbie Hanson of Beaufort, N.C.; two grandchildren, Kristi Dillon (Gary) and Brad Hanson (Colleen); four great-grandchildren, Parker, Hudson, Savannah, and Sawyer.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William Hanson and a sister, Alice Horton Hanson.

A private graveside officiated by Rev. Paul Kvasnicka will be held at Liberty Cemetery, Appomattox, VA.
