Obituary

Appomattox: Rachel Virginia Mayberry Mullins. 66, of 1105 Promise Land Road, died Thursday, July 27, 2006 at her residence. She was the wife of Arthur Emory Mullins.
Born November 24, 1939 in Appomattox, she was a daughter of the late Artie Andrew and Mary Elder Mayberry. Rachel was a former employee of Courtland Mfg. and had also worked for 15 years with the Appomattox County School System in the Middle School Cafeteria and as a bus driver.
In addition to her husband she is survived by their daughter, Renita Gayle Mullins Worley and her husband, Rev. Jeff Worley, of Concord; a son, Arthur Andrew (Andy) Mullins and his wife, Betsy of Rustburg; two grandchildren, Colton Andrew Mullins and Travis Andrew Mullins; her mother-in-law, Lucille M. Mullins of Appomattox and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were 13 brothers and sisters; Della, Reva, Robert, Lovie, Curtis, Curvin, Artie, Thurman, Raymond, Warren and David Mayberry, Bertha Carrico and Ilean Dixon.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Friday, August 4, 2006 at Central Baptist Church by the Rev. Jeff Worley and Rev. Greg Taylor with burial following in the church cemetery
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Thursday from 7-8:30 pm.
