Richard Calvin "R.C." Wilson, Jr., 54, of Appomattox, died Friday, March 1, 2019. Born in Louisa, Va., on May 14, 1964, he was a son of Alice Louise Johnson and Richard Calvin Wilson, Sr. of Appomattox.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Wade Wilson and wife, Madchen of Bothell, Wash. and Gary Dean Wilson and wife, Amy of Madison Heights; four nieces, Abbey, Mackenzie, Kate, and Ashley; and two nephews, Rhys and Patrick.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Robinson Funeral Home by Pastor Jeff Worley. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Clearview Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. and other times at the home of his parents.
