Obituary
Roger Dyches Seay, 68, of Austins Rd., Gladstone, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at his residence. He was the husband of Tammy White Seay.
Born in Buckingham County, VA, on February 22, 1943, he was a son of the late Allen Watson and Virginia Gregory Seay. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, a charter member of Toga Fire Department, and a carpenter.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Virginia Louise Seay, Rachel Dawn Seay both of Madison Heights, and Jordan Elizabeth Seay of Buckingham and her boyfriend, Justin Allen who was like a son to him; two grandchildren, Taylor MeKenzie Jones and Aaron Watson Seay; three brothers, Richard Seay and wife, Linda, Charles Seay and wife, Kathy all of Appomattox and Berry Seay of Buckingham; and a special great niece, Camdyn K. Taylor.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home today, Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and other times at the residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, in Union Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Douglas Adams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
