R. Miller Morris, Jr., 76, of Appomattox, died Sunday, July 21, 2024.  He was the husband of Laurie Morris.

Born in Appomattox, he was a son of the late Ola Carter Morris and Robert Miller Morris.  Miller was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.  He enjoyed metal detecting, Civil War reenacting, and hunting.  He spent his life serving and helping his neighbors.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
