PEGGY B. WOODALL

Peggy Brooks Woodall, 61, of Snapps Mill Road, Spout Spring, passed away Friday April 13, 2012 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Thomas J. (Jack) Woodall.

Peggy was born in Gladys, Campbell County, VA on May 5, 1950 a daughter of the late Margaret Newman and John Lawson Brooks, Jr. She was a nurse having worked at Lynchburg General Hospital, several Doctor's Offices and recently at Central Virginia Training Center.

In addition to her husband, Jack, she is survived by her daughter, Wendy W. Saunders and husband, Haywood of Pedlar Mills; her son, Greg T. Woodall and wife, Nancy of Appomattox; two sisters, Helen Boteler and husband, Lynn of Gladys; Nancy Milton and husband, Jeff of Lynchburg; six grandchildren, Kari May and husband, Joe; Heather Saunders and husband, Hank; Tosha Pattison and husband, Jason; Timmy Creammer; Dustin Woodall and T.J. Creammer; three great-grandchildren, Malcolm, Cameron and Robert; Niece, Stephanie Boteler and nephew, Jason Boteler and wife, Joy.
The family wishes to acknowledge the kindness and support given to Peggy and her family by Denise Doss of Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday morning April 17, 2012 at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Earnie Lucas. Burial will follow in Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday night from 7-8:30 PM and at other times at her residence.
