Paul David Mayberry, 42, of Madison Heights, departed his earthly home on June 7, 2021.

Born on September 14, 1978, in Lynchburg, Va., he was the son of the late Shirley Ann Reynolds Newman and Roger Lee Mayberry. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Gerald Newman.

He is survived by the love of his life, Michelle Cox and her children, Jade and husband, Donavan and Tyler; a brother, Shaun Mayberry; two sisters, Leslie Pugh and her children, Elliott and Angel, and Wendy French; daughter, Mary Payne and husband, Gemini Brown; three grandchildren, Sylas, Ricardo, and Jerimiah;  a very special Aunt, Dale Branham; and many cousins including special cousins, Robin, Brian, Alvin, Gil, Daphne, Dawn, Janie; and best friend from childhood, Terry Shoemaker

Paul loved classic cars and collected statues and memorabilia of the Grim Reaper. He loved his family and Michelle's family very much.

A visitation for family and friends will be at Robinson Funeral Home on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 6-8 pm.
