Paul Eugene Goin, 83, of Redfields Road, Appomattox, went to be with his Lord and Savior, surrounded by his family Thursday, March 10, 2022.  He was the loving husband of Inez Woody Goin for over 60 years.

Born in Appomattox County, September 22, 1938, he was a son of the late Edna Mayberry Goin and Ernest Wesley Goin.  Paul was a member of Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church where he loved his church family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, David Eugene Goin and wife, Deborah and Brenda Ann Franklin and husband, Melvin all of Appomattox; one brother, Robert H. Goin; three sisters, Betty G. Martin, Annie G. Garrett and Mamie G. Meadows; four grandchildren, Matthew Franklin, Brandon Franklin, MacKenzie Goin and D.W. Goin; and one great-granddaughter, Lauren Elise Franklin.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Willis H. Goin, Otis E. Goin, Sr., and Ernest Goin.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Terry White officiating.  Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
