Patrick Forrest Fowler, 25, of Appomattox, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

Born in Annapolis, Md., on March 1, 1993, he was a son of Kimberly Dawn Magruder and the late Jonathan C. Fowler. Patrick attended Southside Community College. He was a black belt with Appomattox Karate Class at the Recreation Center. Patrick medaled twice, gold and silver with the Virginia Commonwealth Games.

In addition to his mother, Kimberly, he is survived by three sisters, Caitlin Fowler, Allison Carmichael-Magruder, and Maegan Carmichael-Magruder all of Appomattox; his fiancé/best friend, Hayley Overton of Prospect; step-father, Ray Carmichael; three aunts; and one uncle.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Raymond officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
