Patricia Scanlon "Trish" Zavatsky
Patricia Scanlon "Trish" Zavatsky, 51, of Appomattox, died Monday, April 14, 2008, in MVC Hospital. She was the wife of Zeke Zavatsky.
Born in Cut Bank, Montana, April 10, 1957, she was a daughter of the late John George Scanlon and Catherine Mary Spillane. She was the house manager at Spring Grove Farm, and was involved with friends of the Appomattox County Library.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons; Jason Rogers of Neptune, N.J., and Alexander John Zavatsky of Appomattox; two sisters, Peg Barton of Bayville, N.J, and Mary Scanlon and husband Chip Robinson of Pamplin; one brother, Dan Scanlon and his partner Steve Scanlon of Plantation, FL.
She was preceded in death by a brother John Scanlon.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Robinson Funeral Home by Father Jim Gallagher.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Friday, April 18, 2008 from 7-8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Sclerderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA., 01923.
