Patricia Bates Murden, 67, of Appomattox died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at her residence. She was the wife of Robert Lee Murden.
Born in Lynchburg, November 1, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Thomas Bates, Sr., and Lillie Jane Silby Bates. Patricia was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons; Richard P. Keeler, Jr. of Lynchburg, Robert F. Keeler of Spout Spring, and Randall Lee Murden of Spout Spring; two sisters, Carrie McAlexander of Lynchburg and Evelyn Bowles of Danville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church, by the Rev. Donald Martin and the Rev. John Muth with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday Night at the home of Richard and Frances Cheatham, Double Bridges Rd.
