Patricia Doss Davidson, 82, of Appomattox, died Wednesday, August 14, 2024.  She was the wife of the late James Larkin Davidson.

Born in Lynchburg, June 16, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Daisy Nell Doss and Samuel Bernard Doss.  She attended Memorial Methodist Church and Bible Baptist Church.  Patricia worked as a seamstress for many years at Courtland Manufacturing and Amelia Dress.  She loved her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by her three children, James Davidson of Summersville, SC, Ronald Keith Seay and wife, Martha and Sabrina Jones and husband, William all of Appomattox; step-daughter, Tammy Hall and husband, Larry of Lynchburg; one sister, Shirley Ferguson; one brother, James Carlton Doss and wife, Mary; four grandchildren, Trisha, Stephanie, Kierra and Jamie; numerous nieces and nephews.  Patricia was a mother to many of her children's friends, opening her home up to them.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth A. Davidson; four brothers; four sisters; and Bobby Allen Seay who was the father of Kenneth, Ron and Sabrina.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Liberty Cemetery with Pastor Robert E. Lee officiating.
