Patricia Smith Casey, 83, of Lynchburg, died Monday, November 7, 2022, at her residence. Born in Lynchburg, VA, on March 29, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Helen Campbell Brockenbrough and Owen Carson Smith.

She was a loving mother to her six children and to many children in her neighborhood. Patricia retired from Grand Furniture with over 20 years of service in the sales department.

Patricia is survived by her children, Lisa Ann Childress, husband Bennie of Phenix, Stephanie Cannon, husband Joe, and Chris Casey all of Lynchburg; six grandchildren, Samena Falwell, husband David, Brian Smith, Catie Crank, Lindsey Watts, husband Ryker, Jessica Cannon and Joey Cannon; eight great-grandchildren, Ethan and Kailyn Smith, Isabella, Wyatt, Blake, Brody Falwell, Caylee Mae Craft, Aly Vandewater, Marley Cannon; sister, Helen Litchford Kinsley; and brother, John Brockenbrough both of Lynchburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Casey; three sons, Perry, Anthony Wayne "Tony", and Mark Burnett.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
