Pamela Goin Watson

Pamela Goin “Pam” Watson, 72, of Appomattox, VA, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Jospeh Sone Watson Sr. for 57 years.

Born in Appomattox, VA, on October 13, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Rachel Ferguson and William Henry Goin. Pam was a member of Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church. She worked at Courtland Manufacturing and G.E. Erickson.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” Notestein and husband, Richard and Crystal Willhoit and husband, Dustin; four grandchildren, Rachel Fitzgerald, Summer Notestein, Skylar Willhoit, and Mannix Willhoit; and six great-grandchildren, Mayson, Natalie, Bently, Ezra, Enzo, and Ezmarelda.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jospeh “Joey” Watson Jr.; two sisters, Janie G. Morgan and Dale G. Musick; and one brother; James Henry Goin.
