Kathleen Paige Tatum Harvey, 94, of Appomattox died on Sunday, January 15, 2023. She was the wife of the late Wilmer Lathan Harvey for 56 years.
Born on May 9, 1928, near New Canton in Cumberland County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Thelma Parker Tatum and William Eurastus Tatum. Paige was a graduate of Cumberland High School and Smithdeal-Massey Business College in Richmond Va. Paige worked for the former Grinels Ford Motor Company of Appomattox and then for Westvaco from which she retired from as an office manager. She was a member of the Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She enjoyed being with friends, was a passionate 'setback' card player, and she purely loved tending her rose garden.
She is survived by her son, William L. "Bill" Harvey and his wife, Rita of Appomattox; one grandson, Wm. Marshall Harvey of Stafford VA; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Aubrey S. Tatum.

A graveside funeral service officiated by Rev. Clyde Mawyer will be held 11 am., Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, 1270 Lee-Grant Ave, Appomattox, VA. Per Paige's directives, there is to be no family night visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials contributions be sent to the Monroe Masonic Lodge's Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 841, Appomattox, VA 24522.
