Otha Junior "Jimmy" Harris, 74, of Red House Road, Appomattox, went to his heavenly home, Tuesday, March 24, 2020.  He was the husband of Judy Haley Harris for 40 years.

Born in Drakes Branch, January 26, 1946, he was a son of the late Nellie Mae Dowdy and Otha Edward Harris.  He worked for Phelps Garage for numerous years, and then worked 16 years with T.E. Moore.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Otha "Jimbell" Harris and wife, Kathy and J. Roger Harris and wife, Tammy; two daughters, Cindy Huber and husband, David and Brittany Harris and Caleb; one sister, Shirley Waller; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, including two special great-grandchildren, Brooklynn and Tristan; numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Sylvia Clay.

He was preceded in death by one son, James Gregory Ayers; seven brothers and one sister.
