Norma Kaye Mann Newman

Appomattox: Norma Kaye Mann Newman, 49, of 7522 Red House Rd., died Saturday, August 18, 2007, in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Leon B. Newman.
Born in Lynchburg, February 27, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Louis Wiley and Alice Elizabeth Womack Mann. Norma was a member of Bethel Bible Church. She loved to fish and work puzzles. Norma Kaye was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, and was a loving caregiver to family and friends in times of need.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Clinton B. Newman; a daughter, Kathy N. Inge, and her husband Richard; a cherished grandson, Jacob Hunter Inge, two brothers, Earl Mann and J. D. Mann; two sisters, Alice Faye M. Doss, and Bonnie M. Maxwell, all of Appomattox; numerous nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, Vernon Newman, of Alexandria; two sisters-in-law, Lois House, of Dolphin, and Rachel Jackson, of Boydton.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at Robinson Funeral with the Rev. Orville Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. tonight (Monday) at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
