Nicoletta DeSimone Eigner, 83, of Little Bear Lane, Spout Spring, died Sunday, October 3, 2010, in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Jack Eigner.
Born in Newark, NJ, on April 28, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Genaro and Jenny Poto DeSimone. She retired from Regina Corporation, attended Glory Baptist Church and was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Marjorie P. Martin of Spout Spring and Diana Long of Erlanger, KY; three sisters, Anna Demers of Jackson, NJ, Lois Scresse of Newark, NJ, and Jeannie Petruzzi of Tenn.; a brother, Mario DeSimone of Bellevue, NJ; five grandchildren, Jesse Chamberlain, Becky McCormick, Cheri Almond, Sarah Mann, and Nicole Benner and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Worley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6-8:30 pm.
