Nancy Lee Evans, 81, of Appomattox passed away on Monday December 9, 2024, at Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Virginia, on April 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Roy E. Lee, Sr. and Adell Giles Lee. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She is survived by four children, Jake Evans, Jr., Roy Lee Evans, Brenda Rickert, and Cynthia Ann Evans all of North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Tommy, Brandon, and Christopher Evans, Caleb Owens, Ciara Rickert, Corey Brinklow, Sebastian Zepeda, and Alana Rickert; two great-grandchildren, Cadence Brinklow and Raiden Brinklow; sister, Virginia Brown of Rustburg; and niece, Connie Marsh. She loved her church family including special friends, Barbara Ferguson, Betty Torrence, and Ruth Weyant.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Boyd Evans; a sister, Shirley Marsh; and two brothers, Roy and Henry Lee.
