Obituary

Nancy Cordani, born June 7, 1950 in Gretna, Virginia, peacefully passed into Gods Heavenly Kingdom November 3, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. During this ten year battle, Nancy unselfishly participated in four clinical trials testing experimental drugs. Nancy loved anything with butterflies but her focus and passion in life was being around family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to Robbie, her husband of 44 years, Nancy is survived by three wonderful children and their families, which includes five precious grandchildren; Wayne and Tammy Cordani with daughter Emily; Matthew and Katie Cordani with sons Morgan and Cameron and daughter Mariah; Jennifer and Rudy Rosado with son Elon. She is also survived by her Mother, Thelma Thompson of Gretna Virginia, and three sisters and one brother; Peggy Cook and Donald Thompson of Gretna, Virginia; Christine Thompson of Ringgold, Virginia; Betty Horner of Colonial Heights, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Thompson, and two brothers, Jimmy and Johnny Thompson.

The family will receive friends on Friday November 8, 2013 from noon to 8:00 PM at the home of Teresa Bryant, 978 Country Club Road, Appomattox, Virginia.

A memorial service and reception will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday November 9 at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 415 Oakleigh Avenue, Appomattox, Virginia.
