Nancy Slagle Cawthorn Webb, 84, of Appomattox passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Appomattox Health and Rehab Center. She was twice widowed, her first husband was the late Jack Cawthorn, her second the late Donald Webb.

Born on May 9, 1940, in Mars Hill, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late William Ophard Slagle and Mable Wyatt Slagle. She was a lifetime member of Hollywood Baptist Church. She was a retired cafeteria worker for Appomattox County Public Schools.

She is survived by two sons, Steve Cawthorn of Appomattox and Matthew Webb and wife, Kami of Roanoke; one daughter, Donna C. Miller of Lynchburg; six grandchildren, Joey, Cora, Charlie, Alex, and Ben Webb, and James Buchholz; three siblings, William "Bill" Slagle and wife, Sarah, Linda Seay and husband, Richard, and Roger D. Slagle all of Appomattox; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Judy B. Slagle, and a son-in-law, Jimmy Miller.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Hollywood Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home.
