Nanci Mae Awde, 86, of Old Courthouse Road, Appomattox, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020.  She was the wife of the late Donald Henry Awde.

Born September 25, 1933, in Springfield, MA, she was a daughter of the late Ella Mae MacDonald and Ralph Newton Harmon.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Louise Sayward and her partner, James Cadorette.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Timothy Wayne Sayward; and sister, Bette Mae Foulds.

The family will receive friends at the residence of her daughter.
