Molly Paris Goin, 83, of Redfields Road, Appomattox died at her residence Monday, July 7, 2014. She was the wife of the late William Henry (Bill) Goin.
Born in Lynchburg, October 28, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Daniel and Mattie Leet Paris. She was an active member of Evergreen Baptist Church. Molly always had great compassion for all those in need. She was a retired employee of Courtland Manufacturing.
She is survived by her children, Claude Martin, Jr. (Sheryl), of FL, Donny Ray Martin (Dorothy), of Appomattox, Lewis Martin (Glenda), of Appomattox, Bernadette Martin Hansen (Bobby), of Appomattox and Jeffrey Martin (Melissa), of KY,; four step-children, Janie Morgan, James Goin (Barbara), Pamela Watson (Joe), Dale Musick; a sister, Rebecca Moore of Appomattox; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother Oscar Whitten and two sisters, Mary Lloyd and Peggy Franklin.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, July 11, 2014 at Evergreen Baptist Church with Dr. Chris King officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and other times at her residence.
