Mildred Anne Wooten Wooten, 89, of Snapps Mill Rd., Spout Spring, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at her residence. She was the wife of Thomas Williamson Wooten.

Born on July 26, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Esther Ferguson Wooten and the last of her generation. Mildred was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church and retired from Appomattox Garment Company.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis T. and Marie Wooten; a daughter, Velma W. Johnson all of Spout Spring; five grandchildren, Michael Wooten and wife, Carolyn, Debra Johnson, Greg Wooten and wife, Robin, Cathy J. Stultz and husband, Steve, and Cheryl J. Kidd and husband, Darin; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, April 22, 2010, in Liberty Cemetery by the Rev. Tom Barker.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home from 7-8:30 pm today Wednesday and other times at the home of her daughter, Velma, 2189 Snapps Mill Rd.
