Mildred Marie Daubner Hayden, 96, of Annandale, VA, Fairfax County, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at August Healthcare at Leewood Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Roland Vance Hayden.

Born in Blairsville, PA, on November 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Michael Daubner and Terezia Hubicka, and was preceded in death by her oldest son, Michael Vance Hayden; brothers, Michael Daubner, John Daubner, and Paul (Dutch) Daubner; and sisters, Mary Nestich, Emma Jankowski, and Julia Baker.

Mildred is survived by her son, Grant David Hayden of Northern Virginia and Raleigh, NC; beloved grandson, Bryce Logan Hayden; and step-grandson, Austin Logan Greene.

Mildred enjoyed crafting, bingo, movies, and country homes, and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Appomattox, Virginia. She had worked, prior to retirement, for the Federal Government in the Department of the Army for many years.

A private family burial of Christian Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church Cemetery by Father Jim Gallagher.
