Michelle Suzanne Hill McRae, 51, of Hollywood Rd., Appomattox, died Monday, August 11, 2014, in McGuire VA Hospital after fighting cancer for 10 years. She was the wife of Bradford Lynn McRae.

Born in Jacksonville, FL, on September 2, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Barbara Ann Hill. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and a US Army veteran.

In addition to her husband she is survived by six children: Christine, Bradford II, Mary, Joshua, Philip, and Holly McRae, all of Appomattox; a brother, Randall Merritt of Lake Butler, FL; her adopted mother, Loretta Merritt of Lake Butler, FL; her mother-in-law, Vivian Crawford; sister-in-law, Wendy Rowan and husband, Wendell, all of Starke, FL; and brother-in-law, Darold McRae of Tampa, FL.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 14, 2014, in Bible Baptist Church by the Reverend Robert E. Lee and the Reverend Jerry Boyce. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence.
