Michael Daniel Seamster, 48, of Bowler Creek Road, Pamplin, died Monday August 13, 2012 at his residence.

Michael was born in Lynchburg on February 21, 1964, a son of Shirley Jamerson and Charlie Daniel Seamster of Pamplin. He was a member of Elon Baptist Church, the N.R.A., and the American Legion. He was a veteran and retired from the United States Air Force Special Operations.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his brother, Timothy Wayne Seamster of Pamplin; two step children along with their families whom he loved and adored as his own, Angela Hill of Voorhees, NJ, Marcus Hill of Louisville, KY, and their mother, Victoria Dahl of Louisville, KY; step-grandchildren, Nicholas, Mikael, Vincent, Brooklyn and Marcus Jr.; an uncle, Doug Seamster and his wife Ellen; an aunt, Nancy J. Weiland and her husband Luther and their families; and special friends, Eleanor Nash and Irving & Peggy Crump.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. John Campbell and the Rev. David Sexton. Burial will follow in Pamplin Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning one hour prior to the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
