Michael Thomas King, 19, of Hillcroft Rd., Charlotte Court House, died Thursday, November 27, 2008.
Born in Lynchburg, April 25, 1989, he was a son of Loretta Tolbert Robertson and her husband, Ernest Edward Robertson of Charlotte Court House and Roy Lee King, Jr. and fiancée, Carrie Lang of Pamplin. Michael was a very caring, loving son, brother, and uncle and always had a beautiful smile to share with everyone. He especially enjoyed fishing, drag races, and digging clay pipes among many other hobbies.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Chris King of Charlotte C.H. and Ryan King of Pamplin; grandparents, Roy and Marie King of Appomattox and Patricia (MeMaw) Robertson of Kenbridge; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a special nephew, Christopher King, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emmitt and Mazie Tolbert and Bernard E. Robertson.
Graveside funeral services will be held 3:30 pm, Thursday, December 4, in Pamplin Cemetery by the Rev. Rick Ewing and Rev. Cindy Buchanan.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm.
