Michael David "Mike" Catlin, 66, of Crest Hill Drive, Lynchburg, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at his residence.  He was the loving husband of Dianne Catlin.

Born in Bedford County, January 18, 1955, he was a son of the late Evelyn Farmer and Douglas Catlin.  Mike was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  He was a retired System Analyst with Centra Health, he enjoyed fishing, kayaking, tennis, golf and racquetball.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Angela Moss and husband, Derek of Lynchburg; one brother, Douglas "Skip" Catlin and wife, Diann of Gretna; one sister, Joni Catlin Freeze and husband, Harold of Mooresville, NC; a sister-in-law, Cindy Catlin of Evington; two grandchildren, Kali Walker and Kamryn Moss; he leaves behind a host of family and friends whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by one brother, John Catlin.

A celebration of life service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Truly Trammell officiating.
