Melodie Ann Woody, 53, of Appomattox, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Golden Living Center of Clifton Forge.
Born in Lynchburg, Va., on March 29, 1963, she was the daughter of Bertha Webber Woody of Appomattox and Clarence P. Woody of Rocky Mount.
In addition to her parents she is survived by two sons, Robert Whitehead and Scott Kress; a daughter, Leslie Totty; a sister, Maxcey L. Sligh of Appomattox; and a brother, Richard W. Woody and wife, Miho of Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Woody Evans.
